Hello,
This week is filled with good news and news you should not miss if you hate panic. You might soon see your Facebook page likes drop, have the local mall address shown if you are looking for products from a local store located in the mall, your contacts will be nicely displayed with all the important info in one place and you can now download the new AdWords app for Android.
1. Making Page Likes More Meaningful – Facebook officially announced that it will remove likes for pages to keep to keep the data updated starting March 12. Over the next few weeks, the likes from already inactive and memorialized accounts will vanish. The good thing is that even though when someone who liked your page deactivates his/her account the like will be removed with it, if the owner decides to reactivate the account, the like will be counted again.
2. The new Google Contacts: Bringing everyone together – if you had problems merging duplicate contacts after an android backup, this will no longer occur. Google finally released a preview of the update where you have all your contacts in one place, removing all the duplicates while keeping their info up-to-date. It’s great to see not only their updated contact info, but also the conversations you had on gmails with that person all in one place!
3. Google Local Results Now Showing Mall Names For Store Addresses In Malls – if you use Google Now to search for local keywords that will make stores come up, Google will now show you the mall name in the address section of the listings in the web search results.
4. AdWords app launches on Android – the app allows you to react quickly even when you are on the road with just a few taps. You can link multiple AdWords accounts with the app, update bids and budgets, view performance, get alerts and notifications, pause and restart campaigns and ad groups, apply suggestions and call AdWords support.
Have a productive week ahead!
