Google published a new update yesterday – we can now build rich and interactive ads using HTML5 that run on any device. To make things easy, Google also launched a great free tool called Google Web Designer. This tool is not only free, but also available for everyone to use it, including people with no programming experience, they say. I checked it myself and I am sure that this tool can do great things, but you will definetely need to spend some time to learn how to use Google Web Designer and see exactly what you can do with it.
This is a snapshot from Google Webdesigner Tool and my doodle. I used their official YouTube Channel to learn the shortcuts and how to move things around.
I will spend more time learning advanced features of this tool because I like their preview tools and the option to see exactly what I am doing at every step. I consider Google Web Designer Tool a useful tool for marketers because they offer you, as an online marketer, more control over the ads that you promote by actually designing them yourself. This skill is even more important for small marketing agencies with small teams which can’t afford to pay a team of designers and appreciate team members which can handle tasks like creating and managing ads from one end to another.
